The Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce Foundation was launched in 1994.
To provide funding support for the activities of the Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce (commonly referred to as the Pasadena Jaycees), an organization that has been serving the community of Pasadena since 1929. Find out more about the Jaycees, by visiting their website.
The Pasadena Jaycees launched a supporting 501(c)(3) Foundation in order to leverage community support through tax-deductible donations for the work being accomplished annually through Jaycee volunteer efforts. Throughout the year, the board members of the Foundation work to raise money to support the community service activities of the Pasadena Jaycees. Each year the Jaycees engage in service projects that are designed to preserve and enhance the lives of disadvantaged youth, families, and seniors in the greater Pasadena area.
The Jaycees – an Award-Winning Organization
The Jaycees provide leadership and service at levels that other organizations cannot match. Pasadena’s Human Relations Commission recently presented the Jaycees with an Award of Distinction for the organization’s lengthy service to the community and its efforts to unite individuals and groups that would be unlikely to come together for a common purpose.
